Methods for synthesizing data from multiple sources

Dr. Ezzati’s research focuses on exposure to, and the health effects of, environmental, behavioral, nutritional, and metabolic risk factors and their interventions at the population level. His research group routinely collects and analyzes primary field data on environmental risk factors in sub-Saharan Africa and Asia. Dr. Ezzati develops and applies analytical models to estimate health effects of risk factor exposures and interventions. Recent and ongoing studies have focused on air pollution in developing countries, risk factor exposure and global and national burden of disease, and subnational patterns of mortality and risk factors.
